Jen and I had a hard time coming up with prize ideas for the Swagghunt (that is the scavenger hunt we created for our kids to do while on the road). They won't get their prize(s) until we come home from our trip, at which point they will be spoiled rotten, having been eating, playing and purchasing things (or having things purchased for them) up and down the east coast. They won't need anything. So what do you get the kids who have everything (or at least, don't need anything)? A bad trophy.
Oh yes, we'll promise them prizes. And prizes there will be! I just ordered this trophy....
....that will be engraved with their name. Fancy! Other items we're thinking would make good prizes are generic, dollar store candies, something utterly practical like toothpaste or deodarent, and, for the cash prize part, pennies - NOT in roll form.
Nothing says "congratulations for spending hours working on odd projects" like a resin trophy. But shhhh! It's a secret!
